Cranberry Modak

Cranberry-Modak

Ingredients 

• Milk: 250 gm
• Ghee: 50 gm
• Jaggery: 100 gm
• Milk powder: 100 gm
• Coconut powder: 150 gm
• Dried cranberries: 100 gm
• Cranberry juice: 50 gm
• Mawa: 50 gm

Directions

• Heat milk in a saucepan and reduce it in half on slow heat.
• Cool it down and add ghee, jaggery and cranberry juice.
• Add milk powder and coconut powder.
• Put the pan back on the flame and cook it further till the mixture is thick.
• Cool it down and shape it with the help of a mold. Stuff it with chopped cranberries and mawa.
