Healthy Cranberry Cornflakes Chivda

Ingredients 

• 2.5 tsp oil/ghee
• 2 tbs Peanuts
• 1 cup Fox nuts (Makhana)
• 2 tbs Flattened Rice (Poha)
• 2 tbs Daliye ki Dal (roasted)
• 1/2 tsp of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
• Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
• Salt as per taste
• 2 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
• Some finely chopped Green Chillies
• Few Curry Leaves
• 1 tbs White Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
• 10-12 chopped Cashews
• 2 tbs US Cranberries
• 1 cup Corn Flakes
• 1/2 tsp Sugar (optional)
• 1/2 tsp Dry Mango (Amchur) Powder

Directions 

Heat 1 tsp oil/ghee in a pan
Add 2 tbs Peanuts and roast it
Add 1 cup Fox nuts (Makhana)
Roast makhana well on medium heat
Add 2 tbs Flattened Rice (Poha)
When the mixture is nicely roasted, add 2 tbs Daliye ki Dal (roasted)
Add a pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Add Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
Add Salt as per taste
Roast everything well and transfer the mixture in a bo
In the same pan add 1.5 tsp oil
Add 2 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
Add some finely chopped Green Chillies
Add few Curry Leaves
(You can also add a Garlic clove at this step)
Add 1 tbs White Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
Add 10-12 chopped Cashews
Add 2 tbs US Cranberries
Add a pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Add Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
Add 1 cup Corn Flakes
Add Salt as per taste
Mix everything well and add it to Makhana mixture
Now add 1/2 tsp Sugar (optional)
Add 1/2 tsp Dry Mango (Amchur) Powder
Combine everything together
