Namkeen Mixture


• 200 gm Corn flakes
• 200 gm Flattened rice flakes
• 200 gm Puffed rice (murmura)
• 45 gm Cooking oil
• 75 gm Coconut slivers
• 100 gm Foxnuts cut 1×2
• 100 gm Peanuts without skin
• 75 gm Cashewnuts
• 100 gm Cranberries dried
• 75 gm Almonds
• 100 gm Roasted gram dal
• 75 gm Raisins
• 05 gm Turmeric powder
• 10 gm Kashmiri red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 05 gm Sugar


In a large pan take oil and spread it with a brush to coat well. Now roast fox nuts for 2-3 minutes on slow heat while continuously stirring it.

Remove it from the pan once crisp and likewise roast puffed rice, and keep aside. Now in the same pan add oil and add cashews, sliced almonds, cranberries and peanuts.

Toast them for a minute and then add coconut chips, chana dal, raisins and curry leaves. Roast them for a minute and then add turmeric sauté and add cornflakes, mix well.

Add red chilli powder, salt, and powdered sugar. Mix , add roasted puffed rice, roasted makhana, and mix them well and roast them for another 2-3 minutes.

Allow it to cool properly before storing
