Sparkling Cranberry Sangria


•  3 cups fresh cranberries, divided
•  1 cup orange juice
•  2½ cup granulated sugar
•  ¾ cup brandy
•  1 (750 ml) bottle sweet white wine
•  1 (750 ml) bottle sparkling wine, chilled
•  1 orange, sliced


In a bowl, squeeze a lemon, put the cup upside down to wet the edge of the cup.

In another bowl add salt and gently dip the cup into the salt mixture to coat the lemon.

In a shaker pour tequila, ice, cranberry juice and a squeeze of lemon; shake vigorously.

Pour into the glass with a lemon twister and dried cranberries.
