Cranberry-Halwa

Ingredients 

• ½ cup sooji
• 1 tbsp ghee
• ½ cup sugar
• 1¼ cup water (250 ml)
• ½ cup cranberry paste
• ½ cup sugar
• 1¼ cup water (250 ml)
• ½ cup cranberry paste

Directions

Dry roast sooji on medium to low heat in a pan for 5-7 minutes. Keep aside.
Add ghee in another pan and then add the roasted sooji into it and roast it again for 2-3 mins.
Add 2 cups water, cranberry paste, and sugar. Mix to avoid lumps.
Cover pan with the lid and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Turn off heat and let halwa sit for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped cranberries and walnuts.
